Earth Quest, founded June 22, 2013, is the result of twenty years of questing and facilitating vision quests for others.  It was founded in order to create opportunities to vision quest and to more consciously pursue one’s spiritual path within the locales where one lives and works.  While it is a pleasure to go to exotic places to reconnect to the natural world and our own deepest selves, in doing so it is easy to imagine that our spiritual life is something we do “out there,” far away.  Earth Quest intends to bring the magic home to Virginia and into our daily lives. 

Mary Radloff, founder of Earth Quest, has been pursuing a spiritual path for many years, but came to the vision quest in 1993.  In 1995 she began studying with Malcolm Ringwalt, founder of Earth-Heart Institute, where she learned to run vision quests. She has protected vision quests on her own and through Earth-Heart Institute since 1997. She has studied with Tom Brown, Jr. (Tracker School) since 1991, through whom the teachings of Lipan Apache elder and shaman, Stalking Wolf have been made available.
